What we can say about this tractor? Unlike a lot of cheaper ride-on toys this quad has both rear wheels powered. Despite their own motors, they are both setup the way that if one will lose traction the other will stop.
As most of this type of toys this model need to assembled in order to get it to use. The assembly takes approx an hour to put everything together correctly.
What about battery life and driving speed? While driving the quad at its full speed the battery lasts for about 40 minutes. However, you can extend it by switching to slower speed. On low speed you'll be really surprised at the battery life. The downside is that when the battery run down, the tractor is too heavy to carry far.
This Peg Perego tractor has 2 forward gears and a reverse gear. On first gear it drives with normal walking pace. However, second gear really shifts! Luckily this model is fitted with speed lock control to avoid kids put second gear on.
The maximum speed this quad can drive with is 4.5 mph so it's suitable for children of any young age. But it's not recommended to be used by kids younger than 3 years old.
One more nice function in this tractor is built-in FM Radio but you'll need to have AA batteries to use it as this is not supplied with this four wheeler.
